Me Thanks |
Thanks You cannot do a walk from one end of the country to
the other without a great deal of help from others. My thanks to -
B&B's too numerous to mention who made me welcome, even when wet and late. Particular
thanks to Flavio Ramos of Upton Cross, Bude, the Dewars at Charlton Musgrove and
the Dixons at Chiseldon who fed me when I arrived late and hungry; to Liam of
Dufton who arranged a baggage carrier over Cross Fell, and to Kathleen in the
Highlands who cut my hair.
- Lester, Jeff, Chris, Ricey, Sue, Tim, Catherine
and Clare for companionship on the Pennine Way
- David from Thurso who carried
my bag across the Cairngorms
- My colleagues at Grant Thornton for moral
support
- My wife's cousin Jill and the doctor on call at Middleton in Teesdale
for medical advice freely given
- And most of all my long-suffering
wife Susan who provided logistical support from home, came to visit me periodically
and provided technical support for the website
